How to book the cottage
From 2004 when the restoration of the cottage was completed until September 2007 the cottage was let out through Suffolk Secrets, who did an excellent job. However, I am now taking bookings directly myself. Everything else will remain the same except that the prices are a little lower than they would otherwise have been.
For details of weeks that are free, see the availability calendar which is usually updated every week. To make a provisional reservation contact me either by telephone - 01865 558596 - or by email - richardwebster@ntlworld.com to check that your preferred dates are still free
Say which week(s) you would like and give your postal address. I will then send you a booking form together with the Terms and Conditions and an invoice for the deposit - 20% of the total cost of the holiday.
When your deposit is received the booking will be confirmed and you will be sent an invoice for the balance, which falls due for payment eight weeks before the starting date. (The Terms and Conditions do little more than summarise the essential information which is on this site. Should you wish, you may download a copy in PDF format by clicking here.)
Any deposit paid is non-returnable. In the event of cancellations after the balance has been paid I will make every effort to re-let the cottage and if successful will return the 80% balance to you in full. But please consider taking out normal holiday insurance to cover against any failure to re-let.
The cottage is let for whole weeks from 4pm on Saturday to 10am on the Saturday of departure. For Christmas and New Year the start day may be adjusted a little - see the availability page.
