Middle Cottage, Westleton

Terms, conditions and information                                   Click here to download as a PDF

1. Holiday dates will be held for you for seven days on the basis of a telephone conversation or email exchange. Booking requests can also be made by post but they will only become 'live' when you receive an acknowledgment confirming that your request has been received.

 2. The booking will be confirmed on payment of a deposit of 20% of the total cost of your holiday.
Please complete the booking form and return it with your cheque (made payable to 'Middle Cottage') as soon as possible.

3. When the cheque for your deposit is received you will be sent a receipt together with an invoice for the balance, showing the due date. This invoice is payable eight weeks before the start of your holiday. (If you make your booking within eight weeks of the start of your holiday, full payment is due at once.)

4. In the event of cancellations after the deposit or balance has been paid I will make every effort to re-let the cottage at the full rate and, if successful, will return any money you have paid (including the deposit) to you in full. But please consider taking out normal holiday insurance to cover against any failure to re-let.

5. Please note that no pets are allowed and that there is strictly no smoking in the cottage.

6. Parking is available nearby on the Common (about 150 yards from the cottage).

7. The cottage is usually let for full weeks, from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.

8. The cottage is let for a maximum of 3 people to stay. Exceptions can be made for babies. Please let me know if this applies.

9. The beds will be made up with freshly laundered bed linen. Two tea towels and two hand-towels are provided downstairs but bathroom towels are not provided. Please bring your own.

10. Central heating, electricity and one basket of logs are included in the price of your holiday.

11. Please bear in mind that Middle Cottage, though completely refurbished in 2002, was built in 1840. There are one or two low doorways, a sloping ceiling in the bedroom and the stairs are winding and a little steep. All part of its charm!

12. When your final payment is received you will be sent directions to the cottage which will include information about keys. Please read this carefully and contact me if you have any queries. Enjoy your holiday!
