Terms, conditions and information

1. Holiday dates will be held for you for seven days on the basis of a telephone conversation or email exchange. Booking requests can also be made by post but they will only become ‘live’ when you receive an acknowledgment confirming that your request has been received.

2. The booking will be confirmed on payment of a deposit of 20% of the total cost of your holiday. You will be sent a booking form and an invoice for the deposit. Please complete the form and return it with your cheque (made payable to ‘Middle Cottage’) as soon as possible.

3. When the cheque for your deposit is received you will be sent a booking confirmation receipt and an invoice for the balance, showing the due date. This invoice is payable eight weeks before the start of your holiday.

4. If you make your booking within eight weeks of the start of your holiday, full payment is required at once.  

5. Please note that no pets are allowed.

6. There is strictly no smoking in the cottage.

7. Middle Cottage is let for full weeks only from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.

8. The cottage is let for a maximum of 3 people to stay. Exceptions can be made for babies.

9. The beds will be made up with freshly laundered bed linen. Two tea towels and two hand-towels are provided downstairs but bathroom towels are not provided. Please bring your own.

10. Heating and logs are included in the price of your holiday.

11. When your final payment is received you will be sent directions to the cottage which will include information about the availability of keys. Please read this carefully and contact me if you have any queries. Enjoy your holiday!
